Ida UMC has a rich history rooted deeply in prayer. As part of our prayer offering, we provide prayer quilts to anyone in need.

​

Prayer quilts are available upon request to the receiver's specifications. Fill out the form below if you are interested in receiving a prayer quilt for yourself or for someone else.

The original Prayers & Squares Quilt Ministry was started in San Diego, California, in 1992. Through Prayers & Squares, thousands of quilts have been distributed across America. The Samaria-Grace Charter started on Dec. 26, 2007. When Samaria-Grace merged with Ida UMC on July 1, 2021, the Prayers & Squares Chapter from Samaria-Grace was brought to the Ida UMC Church.

Prayer Quilt Group

If you are interested in joining the Ida UMC prayer quilt group, join us on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month at 1:00 p.m. No sewing skills are necessary to participate.
